Architectural thoughts

wow...
its been a while since i blogged here.
anyways..
i just need somewhere to input my thoughts for my latest project.
i'm designing a subterrain structure that wants to interact with the inside and the outside.
my idea of a looking glass and a time capsule were debunked because of my structure..
which was based on Sou Fujimoto's Atlier house and House N.
my design is basically consists of four giant steps which form a circular stair way. they are individual platforms which are linked together.
and as the person moves down the platform.i'm thinking of how i'm going to structure an awareness of the site.
Ideas of aalvar alto's way of bringing in natural lighting into his houses come to mind.
I also am imagining a place which is very interactive between the user and the fort.
a part of the fort can become a chair where people rest on it.
um.. that part Ling Hao seemed to be interested in.
i was also thinking about how each step should be thought out..
what can each step do/?? architecturally?
experientially??
what do i want??
i still am not sure..

by right.. i mapped out the history of the site.

and this intervention by right is supposed to make Katong Park out to be a heritage park..
something related with time..
mmm..
time capsule..
what else..
sun dials...
watches..
history.
memories.
time capsule is something for communicating with the people of the future.
you put something into the capsule and leave it for future generations to see.
something for the future.
but how did i present it to him during the interim..
i presented my time capsule as one that allows people to experience the past.. and the present.
and i suppose on top of the fort..
i'm also putting in a valued interpretation of how the past was and how it can apply to us now.
i think i sorta understand how time capsules work better now..
this site is quite informative.

from what i understand from the site.
the time capsule is one where items are placed inside the capsule.. and items placed inside are determined by scientists.
placed in a metal cylinder..made of some cool sounding metal..kromarc

its something installed for the future.

mm
well as of now.. i kind of agree with my tutors that a time capsule would be an inappropriate name...
how about a time machine?
or how about a.. time bomb?
layers of time..
time book?
a looking glass seems to have made my ideas of wanting to show the layers of time a wasted effort...
shucks.. how do i play up this element of time..??
but i also chose the idea of a looking glass because i wanted a wholistic view of different layers present..
